Is there an OMC carb kit number for my
      1954 Evinrude 7516, 7.5 hp Fleetwin,
      that includes the float?

I found the following kit,(shown below) but funny that it includes other 1954 hp
      motors, but not the 7.5
      I’m mostly interested in the
float, needle packing, sediment bulb gasket,
and the carb body gasket would be nice.
Would the kit below have "those" items that
      fit my outboard?
      Thanks!

That’s just an oversight. 439071 is the correct kit. It will have everything you need, and some things you won’t need that are for other motors. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Johnson-Evi … zI&vxp=mtr

I purchased the following kit. Seems to be a nice kit.
Just wondering what the big fat gray O-ring is for?
            (shown in the link.)
Evidently not for my 7.5 Fleetwin, but I’ll like to
            label it for furture projects.
