      to open it carefully drill a small hole (3/16 …. 1/8) DO NOT PUNCTURE to deep just the small cap needs to be perforated then take a pick and pry it off

      btw you should see the tip of the LS needle if you seat it all the way in it should stick out in the small fuel hole feeding the chamber

      make certain carb cleaner will clean out that hole and blow dry it (remove the needle… block the side feeder UP..channel and all the carb cleaner will exit via the small hole)

      to reinstall place the new cap in place take a 1/8 punch or the tip of a square (roberston) screwdriver and gently punch it down (not to hard )

      I seal the perimeter with 2 coats of clear nail polish

        Make sure the carb-to-reed block gasket is in good shape and the carb is tightened up against it properly. The smallest bit of air getting sucked at that point results too fine of a mixture.
