I have a couple timing tools and coil ring from Richards outboards, awesome quality handmade tools. You will enjoy using them.

V.O.M. “timing tool” also works but “the” tool certainly makes it easier and faster (they come in different sizes !! for different HP)

I plan on trying both methods to freshen up my skills. I’ve been mostly working on vehicles the past 20yrs. I need all the advice I can on marine. Thanks!

The inner exhaust cover to cylinder gasket part# 302607 I cannot find online. Also, I can’t find the needle bearings for the rods. Would be nice to freshen those up while I’m installing new rings.
