that washer is no longer available. But you may be able to repair it with epoxy. Clean it well with lacquer thinner or similar material.
apply glue and let it dry on a completely flat surface. make sure the face next to the impeller is completely smooth and flat.
or you could try getting one from a parts motor.

this part breaks when installed improperly and a lot of them are broken,

there is only one correct orientation for reassembly out of four possible ones. so you have to find the correct orientation before reassembly.

there is no gasket beneath it

Thanks, the interesting thing is that I scraped a bunch of stuff out from underneath it, I guess it could just be scum from 60+ years along with impeller rubber that was worn off. I’ll try fixing it and searching for a donor piece in parallel.

Got the new impeller in, looks like it’s pumping water fine. New issue though, basically it seems to run very lean for a few seconds then shuts off. It looks like a fuel delivery issue to me. I pulled the glass bowl and turned the fuel valve on, I get very slow drips, I’m assuming the fuel should flow in quickly leading me to believe the carb is not filling and that the engine is basically sucking what little fuel there is up until it’s gone. Any thoughts?

check the fuel line and filter. should flow quickly. and the vent they block.
