Hi guys. I recently purchased a 55 evinrude 7.5hp. I was wanting to repaint and redecal the motor. I was wondering where I can purchase decals for these old evinrudes and also I found it could get blue evinrude spray paint from ebay. But there is a few different shades. Can anyone help me figure out which shade I need? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me

The blue for 1955 is Polychromatic Blue 1955-1958. There are several versions of Polychromatic Blue, so make sure that you get the 1955-1958 version. http://www.effenaco.com/store/category.php

I strongly recommend you get the proper paint from one of the suppliers shown. The reason being, I have NOS OMC Evinrude Light Blue rattle cans purchased from my dealer. The label says Light Blue but it comes out Light Green.
