      I received this motor to restore in a cardboard box. Most of it taken apart. I am putting the coils, points etc back together but am having difficulty finding out how the underside of the stater goes back together. There is that brass gear piece that has two brass plates and 2 stamped steel plates that mount on the stater but I am not sure in which order. I was hoping an illustrated parts diagram might show the order of assembly.

      Anyone have one to show me? Or a picture?

          I need a couple of those #40 spring hold down clips. 24-20569 if anyone has some in their junk boxes.

            My issue is with parts 39,40,41. I kinda looks like 39 goes between 40 and 41. Is that right?

              Yes, the shim goes between the spring hold down clip and the gear.
