      What do the correct controls look like for a 1955 Mark 55 ?
      Doing a period correct restoration on a 1955 Lyman.
      Any ideas who may have a set they may want to part with?

          I have seen a number of mark 55 models using kaminc controls, particularly the 1955 mark 55s, which was the first year they were made.
          Are you certain your mark 55 is a 1955 model? If so, it would have the waffle detail on the front part of the cowl.

                I agree. I thought Kaminc were for 1955 and prior. 1956 and after had Quicksilver, but I could be wrong. I use Quicksilver push button controls on my 1955 MK55E clone.

                  Hello from West Chester PA,
                  The double lever Mercury (Green or Black and Silver ) Quicksilver Control box is the standard box for a Mark 55. I have two available and a few Merc. cables of different lengths. Cheers for a Happy NEW YEAR Dale dbonsall2@verizon.net

                      I only wish that boat/motor combo was mine! Not sure who’s it is but I think I got the pics from an eBay ad years ago.

                      The quicksilver controls are a dime a dozen and the kaminc ones are only slightly harder to find. Good luck!
