Hello my friends, especially bobw!!! I just want to tell you that persistence pays off. I broke my lower end unit of my impeller housing on my 1956 7.5. Looked around and asked on here with no luck for a new part. Bobw threw a few suggestions my way but didn’t work out. Stayed on line and found not only the part which sells brand new for 125$. Found a whole full running 1956 Ad-10m 7.5 hp for the same price! Wow….sweet!!……
August 29, 2018 at 11:23 am #81966Keep your eye open on eBay for a used seal housing and then you’ll have 2 running motors. I found mine for $20. So where did you get the other motor?

How about on the phone?August 30, 2018 at 11:36 pm #82030On the phone would be great! My kinda style. Im a little bit tech challenged.
August 31, 2018 at 3:56 am #82044Being I worked in a room at Honeywell where the noise level was 136 DB (That was above the threshold of pain – Almost equal to a toilet bowl Mercury) for about a year before My complaints made them pass out ear plugs. It totally wiped out my hearing – which Honeywell blamed an my being in the Army. As a result I use a captioned telephone which prints out what people are saying. This means it takes extra time for me the "hear" what people are telling me. It just means you have to be patient when calling me . . . 😆
It has kinda of been a boost in my self image in that a lot of failure to understand I blamed on my poor hearing the captioned phone doesn’t understand either. . . 😎
August 31, 2018 at 11:03 pm #82078Sorry to hear that Garry in Tampa. No problem. I have patience, Im even in the process of learning more patience trying to find parts for these old motors.
