      Started my 7.5 yesterday.Pumped on primer and then noticed fuel leaking out front of carb.Do I need to rebuild carb or is there another issue. Tank works good use it on other motors. Thank you for your time and knowledge.Russ…

        Likely the float height is not adjusted properly or the float valve is stuck. Did you try simply tapping lightly on the carb with a wooden block to loosen up the valve? Now that fuel is in there, it might have loosened it up.

          Like Tom says, let it leak a bit before trying to start it, might fix itself…
          If not, you will need to pull the carb apart. Does it have relatively new float/seat components?

            Do not know how old float and seat are but will try again see what happens. May pull it off and check it out. Thanks.
