July 15, 2021 at 7:12 pm #242938Boonie you may want to get kit from O.M.C dealer.Might pay a little more but still better than China or Sierra kit. Parts all fit you will be happy you did.Still lots of dealers here in Ont. Russ…
July 15, 2021 at 8:16 pm #242939Hey Russ. I tried my local dealer. He has been amazing getting me old parts. For some reason he couldn’t even find a parts # Schematic for this motor. I have bought one from eBay. Waiting it’s arival.
July 16, 2021 at 1:31 pm #242986Thanks for the part #’s aqua sonic. I called my local dealer and he has them both in stock.

I’m using a pressure tank and the connector is leaking. Is there replacements available?July 16, 2021 at 3:24 pm #242996Your connector is most likely leaking due to old o-rings which need replacement. The tool that Frank referenced is “the way to go” for replacement. You may still be able to get the original OMC o-rings from your local dealer.
Some of us use inexpensive o-rings bought in bulk from supply houses like Grainger or McMaster Carr. If you decide to replace them, and want to go that route, we can certainly point you in the right direction.

July 18, 2021 at 7:29 pm #243193301824 is the part number for the o-rings. Still active in the BURP system.
July 18, 2021 at 7:59 pm #243194marineengie.com has new dual line connectors, but they are expensive. The tool Richard sells is super easy to use and you can replace the O-rings in about one minute. He will give you a few O-rings with it, or buy a bag of 50 at McMasterCarr for about $8. Here’s the new connector:

July 18, 2021 at 8:14 pm #243195Thanks guys. Here is another problem I am having. Picked up a Johnson RD 10 a while back. Good spark but couldnt keep it running without spraying in the carb throat. Rebuilt the carb and same deal. Fuel in the plug holes or carb throat it would fire briefly. Using a good condition pressure tank. Pushed it in the corner for another day. Fast forward. Picked up this evinude 7.5 hp. Same damn deal. Same tank as well. Carb is rebuilt as well. Float setting is correct.
