This question is really aimed at Chris_P. I understand the number for this seal is 321467 and have installed one of these in a 1956 Johnson 30 HP RD18. From his website I see another number for that seal – 303804. To muddy the waters further talking to a reputable dealer, they recommend a double lip seal 911019.
Chris_P can you enlighten me any on these different seals/numbers?
      Thank you.

303804 supersedes to 321467. They are essentially the same seal.

911019 is a new number to me. I cannot comment on it, perhaps someone else can? Is that the superseded number for 321467? I don’t have access to my manuals right now sorry. Ill look when I can unless someone else has the answer.

If you need a seal, PM me with your shipping address and Ill send one over.

Usually 900 series numbers of old were stern drive numbers? Some converted & were used for outboards. Lots of double lipped on stern drive applications. Sierra (18-2066) should have the sizes listed in their main catalog. Not all were ethanol resistant? Used in gearcase applications, etc.

Ok got interested in this so did some digging.

            The 303804/321467/18-2060 Oil Seal Measures 1.000 Shaft/1.375 OD/0.25 width

            The 911019/18-2066 Seal Measures 1.000 Shaft/1.375 OD/0.435 width

So it has the same OD and ID, just a bit wider, which should not affect anything. I cannot see why that would not work as long as it is ethanol resistant. Good to know.

According to the chart, 321467 and 911019 are same ID and OD but the first is .250 thick and second is .435 thick. That’s all I know.

EDIT: Too late, Chris beat me to it.
