      hey guys know it might be a long shot but looking for that emblem on the front of the cowl for the 57-58 motors. I know you can get the sticker type from http://nymarine.ca/JOHNSONmedallions.html
      but looking for a good original 2 if you have them or know how to get them. need one for a 58 10 and a 57 18. thank you guys. Just looking for some good resources.

        The 57′ emblems are much easier to find than the 58′. Most of the 58′ emblems are broken or missing due to poorly designed fasteners, that tended to fall out. The last two NOS 58′ emblems that I saw come up for sale on Ebay went for just shy of $200.00. Good ones are just hard to find, and tend to be on cosmetically very nice motors.

              yeah I have a 57 7 1/2 that has a nice Emblem, they were for sale for like $80 bucks a few years ago but I guess they are all gone.

                Sandy at the Maple Leaf Club makes ’57 emblems. I’ve tried them and they are a nice product.

                Go to Resources, then Dealer Parts and you’ll find them.

                      There is a guy on tinboats.net that goes by shaugh that makes nice reproductions. I think he has some on ebay also
