Are you looking manual start or electric start flywheel????
I have a manual start flywheel from a 1955 25 hp RD-17??
Would that work?

630-624-8282Al, It’s a manual start engine, but I’d take either if it fit.
I only have an RDE17 manual for a 25 hp, (electric start flywheel)
that shows part #580177.
Looking on M.E. in 1957 for the 35 hp Big Twin electric,
they’re showing #580229. Not sure if they’re the same
crankshaft taper, etc. between those years and models,
but the 1957 electric start flywheel is showing a cogged hub
for a generator, which the 1955 did not have, so it would be
a different part number anyway.Perhaps someone “parts savvy” can let us know if your flywheel would
fit my motor…… if so, I’m most interested in your generous offer.
Thanks!Prepare to be boarded!

I already know I’m in trouble!Prepare to be boarded!

Flywheel for manual start 1957 35 hp RD-19 is 580212
What makes no sense-
In Franks list it says-
RD-10 thru Rd-19M (less ring} is 580212
My RD-17S falls in that range but yet has part number 580109
