I am working on a 1957 Hiawatha 3.6 hp
it has no compression, I am looking to tear it down and am looking to see if I can get a head gasket, maybe a set of rings?
any help will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
That motor went out of print about ’65, finding rings is problematic. Fair chance your rings are just stuck. Head gaskets should be out there.
Your Hiawatha is the same as 3.6 Scott Atwater. try Laings Outboard.

Hello Troy, I have head gaskets there is 4 bolt, & the 6 bolt in 2 different thickness.
I do not have the rings
Check with Otto Gas Engine Works for rings. Link – https://ringspacers.com/ Tubs.
A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
