US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK
I’m working on an 18 Johnson [1957] that was stuck. After some soaking it is now turning over. My question is, are the rings on this motor pinned? I can see the ends of one of the rings showing in one of the intake ports.

Yes, they are pinned.

You might have a broken ring. 😯

Yea, typically, you won’t see the ring ends in the intake ports.
