Does anyone have a parts illustration for a 1957 Montgomery Ward Sea King 12 HP- Model GG8971B
Do you know if the cylinder head & cylinder head gasket are the same as a 1958 Gale 12 HP?

Head gasket is the same from ’54 to ’59 at least

You need to know if they are "Standard" or "Deluxe" models. Cylinder heads are different between Standard and Deluxe because of the cowling mounts. The Sea King # you gave is a Deluxe, but how about the Gale? Head gaskets are the same on both.

What was the difference between the "standard" and the "deluxe". My Owners Guide is for the 12hp Deluxe (GG-9021A).
Cylinder head is listed as 591608 and gasket as 552181

Standard has the old style midsection and an integral gas tank. Deluxe has rubber mounts, lower motor (pan) covers, and remote gas tank.
