Hello all. Im looking for a fuel pump for my 1957 Sea King 25hp. Is it possible to make a diaphragm/gasket for my original, or am I better to retrofit a newer style?

If you want to tackle making a double thickness diaphragm with a support riveted into the middle, plus a complicated gasket, go ahead. Me, I’d buy a Sierra Marine 18-7351. Some hose rerouting required, but hey you were going to replace them anyway–right?

Not necessarily caring about originality I like the retrofit idea. And yes hoses will be replaced/rerouted. Thanks, Brian.
