Okay guys. I agree with what Chris is saying here. Plus setting the float to only allow it to drop 1/4 to 3/8 inch from there, is best too. It appears that if the float is allowed to drop to far when dry, it can’t close the needle fast enough to stop the fuel from running over. Very odd how that works, but you just have to play along with it. You’re not going to open the needle valve anymore, by allowing the float to drop more than a 1/4" anyhow. The little tab on the very end of the float, is where you adjust the drop distance. It hits against the float mount in order to set the drop allowance.
