I am looking for a shift cradle. I found one on eBay that is for a 15hp Evinrude / 15012-06624. I am wondering if this will work on the 18hp Evinrude? I can’t seem to find any info on it or part numbers without buying an expensive parts manual. I have the service manual and I know the 5hp to 25hp lower unit are covered under the same section. If anyone can let me know that would be great.

      Thank you!

It just so happens that the two motors mentioned use the same cradle, part number 302500

Holy crap, marineengine wants 70 bucks for it. I’ll bet somebody here has one for a lot less. I probably do, if I go through my stash.

First eBay result only wants $25 with free shipping, might be able to find it cheaper if one were to keep digging

I would like to find the shift dog and bushings if possible for this unit as well. The gears are in great shape and the shift dog has a little wear but the cradle definitely needs to be replaced.

This link did not bring up any parts list for my unit.

When that happens I just use the parts diagram the year before and year after to compare part numbers. If they jive then I am happy. In this case the reverse gear bushing is #303997, forward gear bushing is #391018 $$, & shifter is #305191. I would look on Ebay for someone listing a NOS shifter since a new one is pricey. Same with that foward gear bushing. Hope that helps!
