I am looking for a shift cradle. I found one on eBay that is for a 15hp Evinrude / 15012-06624. I am wondering if this will work on the 18hp Evinrude? I can’t seem to find any info on it or part numbers without buying an expensive parts manual. I have the service manual and I know the 5hp to 25hp lower unit are covered under the same section. If anyone can let me know that would be great.
Thank you!

August 28, 2015 at 12:39 am #22797Holy crap, marineengine wants 70 bucks for it. I’ll bet somebody here has one for a lot less. I probably do, if I go through my stash.

August 28, 2015 at 4:36 pm #22835I would like to find the shift dog and bushings if possible for this unit as well. The gears are in great shape and the shift dog has a little wear but the cradle definitely needs to be replaced.

This link did not bring up any parts list for my unit.
August 28, 2015 at 5:27 pm #22838When that happens I just use the parts diagram the year before and year after to compare part numbers. If they jive then I am happy. In this case the reverse gear bushing is #303997, forward gear bushing is #391018 $$, & shifter is #305191. I would look on Ebay for someone listing a NOS shifter since a new one is pricey. Same with that foward gear bushing. Hope that helps!
