      Here is an interesting boat.
      It’s a 1960 12’ Vio Holda.
      I don’t get what they wanted
      to do here.
      Wonder how they marketed it?
      Combination John / V bottom?
      There is all kinds of bracing down
      the sides as well as the transom.
      Makes it on the heavy side for
      an aluminum boat.
      Everything is spot welded.
      No Rivets. Some evidence of the
      spot welds pulling out and covered
      with some type of caulking.

      A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

          Never seen anything like it. It looks sturdy enough – if the welds hold . . . 🙂
