So i have a 1960 Scott 40hp motor, manual start that i am converting to electric start. Rebuilt the starter and got the flywheel spinning. barring any magneto problems i am set except that now i need a few parts for this old motor-
i need a flywheel cover as illustrated in the photo below and a scott shift cable end (2nd photo)
Any leads or suggestions where to find?
      thanks

        Looks like a Morse/Teleflex/Sea-Star 33C cable?????

these are the original cables that came with the scott motor…

Ozzie might have the parts but he’s hanging out on the Facebook page more now.

Yeah, but were they made by Morse (now SeaStar)?

it’s possible they were made by seastar, however they don’t make that cable connector any longer, and i think the end connector was unique to the scott motor… thankfully my cables are in good working order and i just need the end.
