Interesting. Your lower unit is the same basic shape as mine and the pump housings look the sameish. However, mine has a twist style shift, rather than up and down, and it has a “foot” on the bottom, that has to align with a slot in another shift mechanism in the gear case. This all goes on, AFT of the water pump! Also, I have a tube which must be installed into the pump before the pump is assembled, and then, this tube sticking up, has to align with a hole some inches up in the mid section. I should have taken pictures, but I ain’t taken’ that thing off again, for NOTHING. Aligning all that stuff was hard. I do seem to have the same impellers as yours. I was concerned with mine, because they are bigger in diameter than my originals. When installed, the blades are basically sideways, in some places. I am a long way from running mine, so I can’t tell you if it’s all going to work. In YOUR case, could you do the old drill-on-the-drive shaft trick and see if it pumps in a bucket?

      Long live American manufacturing!

Bill, If I pulled the lower unit off again, I’m hoping the water line to the power head
stays attached “top side”, otherwise, I’d probably end up pulling the power head again.
Probably easier the second time around, but nothing I look forward to!

        Prepare to be boarded!
