      Back when I still used starting fluid ( before the fire) I mislead myself a couple times. Thinking if it won’t fire with either, must be bad spark. Not always true. Now I just use a squirt fuel mix. I did replace my fire extinguisher :mrgreen:

        Boy I don’t know how such a little guy produced so much carbon. That was the worst I have seen. The whole exhaust passage was clogged. Cleaned it out, and put a new gasket on her. Ill have to pull the powerhead and check the exhaust cavity.

        I hope your problem is as easy a fix.

          it floods but does the fuel flow meet the needs ? check the tank filter for crud and side air silencer for bugs

          clear the 2 vent holes in the cap ?
