This season will be mounting a very sweet 64 speeditwin on my Lone Star Malibu. Would like to select a prop that would push the boat as fast as possible. Usually there are two adults and cooler for payload. Boat is a quite light aluminum runabout. Have been running a 1986 SPL 28 with a smaller displacement PowerHead, will push boat 25 mph. Any ideas of a good "Speed" prop would be much appreciated!! Thanks

MIchigan says AJC466,467, and 468 for light craft/light load, or SMC58 or 59 (10 1/2 X 14) for light craft, one or two passengers..

You might not get additional speed, but you’ll be running a cool classic motor. The 32 cid loop scavenged SPL28 and its ilk are very powerful for their displacement. Let us know how it goes.
