I’ve got the 66 Evinrude powerhead sandwiched in the 71 Johnson clamshells,
and trying to hook linkages back up. I got things hooked up so
the twist grip moves the magneto and operates the throttle, but
I have two concerns.

Carb to magneto sycronization – I’ve looked a manual, but found nothing
on this subject for this motor.

When the twist grip is opened fully, it only goes to “Start”.
There’s what the diagram calls the “Throttle Rock and Link”.
I’m guessing it should be “Rack” instead of “Rock”.
I tried engaging the rack at various points as I twisted the throttle,
and got it better than it was, but it’s still “Off”.

Does anyone know, or have a manual showing either procedure?
