          I see them on ebay, but the sellers seem to think they are made of gold. Be patient, a reasonably priced one will show up…

            If I had an extra, I’d just sent it to you. All I have are two, complete, running, 1960s. One extra lower unit. That’s it. You know how it is: People are going to ask $50 for a recoil but $20 for a whole parts motor….

                It’s like Bill says, sometimes it is cheaper to buy the whole engine (usually one that doesn’t work), than to buy one of these starters. Most of the individual pieces are available at ME.com, I’ve seen used cups on ebay. But, it is pricier buying the individual pieces. I will let you know if I see one or pieces you might use. Keep an eye on ebay, sometimes they pop up for a reasonable price. Like I say, sellers seem to think these things are worth their weight in gold….
