      I am currently working on a 1968 mercury 500. I am not getting spark and the plug and have determined its the switch box. Of course the most expensive part i am sure to replace. Can anyone tell me where i can find one or an aftermarket one even.

        Try CDI or maybe they can rebuild it. Just a thought. I didn’t look at their catalog.
