      Hi. Need to replace the water pump. Oldmercs.com can get parts, but i would sure appreciate help making sure I get the parts that I need, and should be replaced if I take the lower unit apart. Also have the pre 1964 service manual. Hoping this will work for this project. Please advise

        much the same thing. you will need the impeller and gaskets and maybe the cover check it when you get it apart. if it is plastic look for melting.
