Working on a 1974 chrysler 6hp and just got it running tonight. It idles very well but on acceleration it bogs on quick acceleration. If you throttle slowly it comes up to speed. I set the throttle linkage as per manual but not sure its right. It has strong spark and I cleaned the carb thoroughly. Any suggestions? Thanks Dave

richen the idle 1/4 at a time.

Agree with Dave, if it will get there slowly but not quick needs a little more fuel at idle. They are good running little motors worked on one this spring that had been setting since late 70s

how is it motors multiply when the garage lights get
          turned off?

Tried richening it up but bog still exists. Is it possible my float is set wrong?
