I usually buy my paint from Peter at NY Marine, but his selection doesn’t go that new. I found some at a web site a few weeks ago but couldn’t locate it again. Anyone have a good source for 1973 Evinrude white and light blue metallic?

        Reprotint

Not certain these are what you’re after though.

Reprotint paints are great and easy to use. I’ve used them several times with good results.

I should have used Repro’s instead of the original OMC stuff. This can of paint was more than a few years old and came out more of a lilac or amethyst color instead of blue.

What are you painting? A PC case??

These images from an italian catalog, via the wayback machine look on the purple side:

              especially the 40 & 50.

Less so in this US catalog:

there’s a good deal of color variation between the photos….

Ha-Ha, Good guess but it was actually a cover for a stick welder I was getting ready to sell!
