Can anyone give instructions on how to disassemble lower unit, to replace water pump and proper way of filling lower unit with gear lube ? This model does not have drain & fill plugs . It has a neutral clutch . My intertec manual does not have repair procedure when published . I find it odd that my 69 chief has drain & fill plugs, but no neutral clutch and this one does not.

As far as the gear lube, I believe on those you invert the motor upside down,
and remove the gear cap / skeg’s four bolts. Refill with lube and put
        the cap back on!

Thanks Buccaneer! Do you know if you have to remove the power head to get at the water pump? I’m thinking that you have to drop lower to get at a disconnect on shift rod to drop the lower. Any suggestions or possible links on aomci sight ?

I believe when I did my similar unit, I pulled the power head,
and just under that was the shift rod disconnect.
If you PM me your email, I’ll send a PDF manual for a K753
            which might be close enough.
