      Hi Guys,
      Working on a 1976 25hp Johnson tiller motor. I just installed a new BRP carb kit with new float. What is the starting point setting on the needle? Some where around 1.5 turns out from seated?

        Right, I think just about all OMC low speed needle settings are 1.5 turns out, at least from the 1950’s on.

          Don’t forget to check the points under the flywheel (.020) and your link/sync on the carb before running. Good luck!
