      Hello,
      I got this Johnson converted from the remote model to tiller mode during last year of Covic-lock down.
      It does not run smooth as you could see in the video. Could you be able to tell the issue? This is the youtube video in of it.

        Sounds like carburetor is running too lean. May also have an intermittent spark issue but try adjusting carb a little richer first.

            Yep, sounds like the lean spit these engines are famous for… Have you tried checking carb synchronization…The engine will never idle right if the throttle plate isn’t closed at idle or starts opening too early. Is it getting up to temperature? These engines won’t idle if running cold. Have you tried richening the idle mixture?
