      Hi All, It has been a long time since I was on here and thought someone might be able to steer me in the right direction. I need a good outboard motor mechanic in northeast ohio. I don’t think Stan Jackson is doing it any more,as I just turned 64 and I know he is older than me. I will check back for answers as not sure how to let people contact me. Thanks Jim

        You never know. Outboard mechanics usually work until they die because they don’t make enough money to really retire and/or they just have an inherent need to FIX stuff.  Full disclosure: I AM one. Even if the guy left his company, I bet he’d do side work on a small, easy one like yours.

          Wish I could help, but live in RI.  What is/are the issues with this 1988 9.9hp?
