Hello, would anybody know if the float needle washer (#202067)on an Evinrude 4423 3.3 hp carb goes right on top of the float lock, above the float, (#120813) inside the bowl, or does it mount on the needle outside the bowl just above the primer body cover (#202046)??
The assembly view seems to have it inside the bowl but an ounce of prevention, pound of cure kinda thing.
      Thanks gentlemen,
      Doug.

It sure looks as if it goes on top of the float, inside the bowl. I haven’t had mine apart for a few years so I can’t say for sure.

I agree. I didn’t know if it was to seal the top hole where the needle passes thru though.
You wouldn’t know if that carburetor lever (#276591)is supposed to attach to the top of that needle in some way would you? I thought I read something about that in a forum somewhere but I’ve inundated myself with too much info at this point since this is my first time dealing with this carb.
          Thanks Mumbles,
          Doug.
