      This may be a dumb.question question but I cannot seem to figure out how to tilt the motor up

        First, be sure it’s in neutral or forward. Then be sure the tilt lock spring is pulling it down when the motor is in neutral or forward. (disclaimer – my 1959 may be a little different)
