Been a while since I took it apart…now cannot remember how the wire is routed. Anybody have a picture ?

      Thank you!

      Happy Motoring,

Nothing real special to it. NO one cay say you ran it wrong!

It comes out the starboard side. Down behind the starter bracket, under the carb, then up to the cutout switch.

I saw in one of my parts diagram a wire clamp on the upper starboard side of the intake manifold. I know I forgot to install this clamp (maybe I did not have one originally), but I think it may have something to do with the wire??

Weird though, part number 29 does not show up in Marine Engines diagrams but does in my references.

Nice ’56 Garry! Looks like the cut-out is placed differently…yours is facing forward, while mine is facing port ward .

Yes it did originally run through that clamp if you still have it.

Thanks Chris, I do not think the wire is long enough to go under the carb…but I’ll try. If I do not have the wire clamp, I think I could easily make one.
