57 vs 58 Scott 7.5 hp

Are the 1957 Scott 7.5 hp outboards essentially identical to the 1958 Scott 7.5hp? Are they both McCulloch manufactured?

From my scrambled memory: there was an ownership change at the end of ’57 which enabled more stylish motors from ’58 onward. I would say that mechanically, ’58 / ’59 have more in common than ’57/’58.

I believe Raymond Loewy designed new cowls starting in ’57, so the outsides may look similar from ’57 to ’58 and onward.
