      I recently acquired a decent Gale 25hp buccaneer Deluxe. I was wondering I’d anyone had an online scan of the manual specifically for this model “22DE16E”. I have other similar 25hp manuals but I am interested in the cosmetics of this one and need the model specific one.

      I’m positive it was repainted by a prior owner since the teal blue green is now a dark green. I do not believe North York Marine sells the correct blue/green color and wanted to know if anyone else had found a close substitute.

      And does anyone make repro Gale recoil grips? I haven’t found any yet and have a line of motors that could use them.

        I know this doesn’t satisfy your question, but FWIW, notice there is a slight difference in the 1956, 1957, and 1958 greens. These are my originals.

            Nice color comparison Frank!

            For what it’s worth, here is my 1958 showing its green:
            Disregard the blue Evenrude lower – the exhaust housing was cracked when I got it.
