      Hi,

I got my ’59 Seaking 35 running for the first time today…kinda!

The only way to keep it running was to pump the fuel bulb on the tank. My knowledge tells me this is a fuel pump issue.

This model has a factory fuel pump…just wondering what my options are?

      Thanks,

      Mas

Sierra 18-7351. You will have to slightly re-route the hoses, but you were going to replace them anyway, weren’t you? Not 100% sure if it will fit on the lower cylinder because of the outlet hose. If not, you might have to move it to the upper one. If it has the glass filter up there, you don’t need it because there is a filter built into the pump. The inlet hose fitting can be rotated pointing in any direction.

OK…I’ll check into the Sierra pump. No chance of a rebuild??

          Thanks,

Not for the original 1959. They quit making those parts about 40 years ago.

I have actually re-kitted one of those a couple years back
