I was successful starting the nut on the carburetor. I used my original idea. I put the nut on a straight piece of coat hanger, lined it up with the stud, and was able to start with my index finger…..the only digit that would fit into that tight space. I also placed a light colored rag under the stud, and used a flashlight to brighten up the area. Also, it’s amazing how a good nights sleep and fresh start helped with the process.
