Frank, this is slightly off topic, but you seem to really know the Evi’s pretty well: my Sportster has a starter and I’ve read some conflicting posts around the web that say that the starter is also an alternator, which seems odd to me, is that true? I would like to put an alternator on there if it’s not there already but there are zero results for it (heck the starter also doesn’t appear on most parts places I’ve looked at), but am interested in doing it if it’s possible.
