I received 85 merc putting together, had no carbs or hoses. I’m not sure of fuel direction connecting to pump singular style .It has filter to one side I’m running inlet to it . 2 outlets on pump .

It’s been a long time since I have seen one of them. Anyway, be careful with the hoses. I recall that they used a water cooled pump for awhile and at least one of your hoses may be for that. Sorry I don’t have a better recollection. If you post a serial # I will try to do some more research, if you need it….
