      Hi All

      Could someone help me in identifying the numbers on my 3.3 please?

      Model 9A 2 (The 2 is my Q)

      Serial K20302 A

      It runs very nicely and is original I think. It will be ran on the 16th Jan in front of my peers so they will ask about it I am sure.

        Late 1939 first year of the new styled 3hp with rolator pump. meant to replace the aging 2.hp single. First year runs had rod issues ‘Aluminum’ many grenade blowing rods out the case. Bronze rod used after 41. These units not found in the books most went overseas.

          Thanks for the info.

          Rod problems…………it does say mix a pint to a gallon……maybe people missed that.

          I stuffed up with initial post in that I should have asked what the "9" was. It is an A2.

          Mr Hunn indicates that A2 is 3.3Hp 48-49.

          Would an extra number obviously different punch, indicate it was number nine……maybe a hire motor? Like at a holiday camp or something.
