      Hi,
I will be meeting a guy who is selling 20 "vintage" outboards for $1,700. I am not sure if this is a good deal, and would appreciate it if someone could take a look at the pictures that he posted, and give me your thoughts / advice on what he has.
      Thanks,
      Neil

At $35 a piece it should be a good deal. The only concern is that he is in Seattle. If these are all salt water motors you may be in for a lot of problems. If you just want to shine em up for wall hangers you cant go wrong. As always buyer beware!

At $1700 they’d be $85 a piece. There’s some decent ones in there but alot of dogs that I definitely wouldn’t give $85 for. I’d say $900-$1100 tops, but that’s just seeing the pics. Good luck!

No – that is eighty five a piece. I see a lot of parts motors. Parts for the rare ones would be very hard to find. 😕
