It is interesting for me thinking about how to test fire an outboard on the moon. I spent 2 hours Googling info on the moon’s gravity, atmosphere ,temp etc. It would be very hard , but not impossible to get one running. Not gonna be cheap. Unfortunatly Nasa has more critical experiments to conduct than transporting an outboard, a gallon of gas,a barrel,a bunch of water and compressed air cylinders to test our(my) so called research. I may start a new thread as this is off topic with my "plan " IF we want to talk about this. Do we have any Nasa, Boeing, Rockwell people on this site? It might be fun, anybody want to have some fun discussion?

Wow. A real response on this one. I have worked this over in my mind for a long time. I believe that the last few intakes of air will not allow ( being lower pressure ) the reading to peak out. However there is a good argument for the trapped air to reach the same full reading also.
A road trip my be the way to proof it out. I can’t go to Ca. till next summer, but may take a powerhead and gauge with me.
