      US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

      A gift from a friend in the hobby….easy to see how and where used. The tough part is Who made it and were more made or is it a one off. Appears to be well thought out design. Swivel is brass or bronze and heavy enough to be a spare anchor. Thanks for any insight.

        Purpose and functioning is clear. The question is who made it and were others made.? No markings so the who may stay unknown, BUT, if there are other examples out there more of the story may be revealed. Given the scrap value a low survival rate is likely,
