      Just follow the wiring diagram Frank posted last.

      Whether they are in a control box or not, in a wiring harness or not, the motor will not know, nor care, but they must be there to work.

        Well I wired it up like the diagram. I chose to use a key switch. I got no reply from the starter (which I know works). Question is the key has 4 spots. Batt, ign, acc and centre. I sent the battery wire from the solenoid to the batt terminal on the starter. I sent the other wire from the solenoid to the terminal that says ign. Am I doing something wrong here?
