Does it spark?The reason I ask is,I have been trying to get spark on a conversion like yours with little success.The only difference is that my mag plate is the one with cast in shoes.

classicomctools@gmail.comJanuary 12, 2019 at 1:08 pm #163089Yes they are new coils installed just like those in picture.Only difference is I didn’t “insulate” the bundle of rods as you did.I’m going to give that a try.I do get a very weak spark,(enough to spark a plug) but not enough to even jump 1/8 gap.
