      Not sure what year this motor would be. Does it look like it’s been painted, or do you think the decals and paint look original?

        Mid 1960s from the swivel bracket. A Model number would help. I never had a Johnson.         . . 😀

          Yep, 1964 through 1967 had that bracket and integral tank

            Its not a ’64 or ’67. The ’64 has a red Seahorse decal. The ’67 has a greenish leg I believe and different decal.

            The ’65 and ’66 are very similar motors. If I had to gamble without doing research I believe it to be a ’65 as I believe the ’66 didn’t have that squarish outline around the decal, no border like the one in the picture.

            It looks original to me. Pretty good shape.

                I concur with 1965 being the year going by the decals.
